The Journal of Structural Pathology is a multidisciplinary scientific journal dedicated to the examination of pathological states, failure dynamics, and persistence phenomena across complex biological, psychological, institutional, and computational systems.
The Journal publishes rigorously grounded work addressing cross-domain phenomena that are empirically demonstrable yet insufficiently resolved within isolated disciplinary frameworks. Its scope encompasses, without limitation, physiology, neuroscience, epigenetics, psychophysiology, psychiatry, criminology, criminal justice, systems science, cybernetics, artificial intelligence, computational and algorithmic governance, security studies, and the analysis of belief and interpretive architectures insofar as they generate observable, measurable effects.
Contributions focus on structural configuration, constraint propagation, load accumulation, and interaction effects as primary determinants of system behavior. Subject matter may include violence, murder, serial offending, institutional dysfunction, regulatory failure, cognitive and somatic strain, epigenetic modulation under sustained exposure, algorithmic decision regimes, and belief-mediated action, provided such phenomena are treated as reproducible outputs of definable system states rather than narrative constructs, psychological attribution, or moral deviation.
Manuscripts are evaluated using internally constrained analytic criteria designed to limit interpretive drift and enforce evidentiary discipline across domains. Submissions must demonstrate methodological explicitness, internal coherence, and grounding in empirical data, biological markers, computational output, formal modeling, case series, historical record, or established scientific frameworks. Argumentation predicated on advocacy, ideology, speculative inference, or affective reasoning is outside the scope of the Journal.
The Journal of Structural Pathology occupies an integrative position at the convergence of scientific, clinical, and applied analytic domains, presenting work in a precise literary form that preserves technical fidelity while remaining legible beyond disciplinary silos. Articles are constructed to support scrutiny, reproducibility, and citation without reliance on domain-specific obscurantism.
The Journal of Structural Pathology exists to preserve and disseminate scientifically sound work addressing structural phenomena that persist across systems, contexts, and scales, particularly where such work exceeds the classificatory boundaries of existing publication venues. The Journal is descriptive rather than prescriptive. It does not advance normative interpretation or propose intervention. It documents system behavior as it occurs under constraint.
